I so hope the Pred. does wonders for you.  If so, then the Placquenil would be

great if that works too.  I am on these 2 plus Methatrexate.  The 3 together

is working so good for me.  I saw my Rheumy today and all is good for me.  My

blood work from 3 weeks ago did show I was flaring then, but she uped my Pred.

to 10 mg. and it did the trick for me.  I am most thankful for that.

I just hate when someone thinks the pain and suffering is in our minds.  Who

would want to sufffer like this??  It  used to hurt my feelings when someone

dared to suggest that to me.  How can anyone make up swollen feet, ankles,

hands, etc.  They can't.

Wishing you many pain free days ahead.

Hugs,

Barbara

I just got back from my RA doctor with various complaints of tenosynovitis in

both hands, feet, knee pain. She is diagnostically putting me on a trial of

prednisone and if I respond well to it will further prescribe plaquanil. I am a

tough case as my bloodwork is coming back negative but feet pain and stiffness,

knees and hands are just too much to ignore. I some ways I want something to

come up in the bloodwork so noone thinks I am manifesting this in my mind. She

definately doesn't act like she thinks its in my mind but some justification for

the way I feel sometimes would be nice.

Just sounding off here. Wish all you well and take care.

I wondered the same thing... Everyone could see my swelling yet drs kept telling

me my pain was due to depression.

Even my rheumy said that AFTER diagnosing me with lupus! Him having my drug

cocktail wrong was the problem- not my mental state!
