Guest guest
Lovaza Omega 3 is a highly refined prescription product from natural sources (fish) created by a pharmaceutical company originally for use in lowering high cholesterol. The capsules should not be broken because the contents are very strong. Here is a link to a description of it in its use for immune health. Also included it says that each capsule of Lovaza is 1000mg, and contains roughly 465 mg of EPA and 375 mg of DHA. Not sure how many capsules per day you would take. http://hubpages.com/hub/Prescription-Lovaza-vs-Omega-3-Supplements-for-Immune-Sy\ stem-Health For 1 Tablespoon of Carlson's fish oil (3 times 1 teaspoon), it would have EPA 2400 mg, DHA 1500 mg, other omega 3s 900 mg. (On the bottle, the numbers show for one teaspoon, so I tripled it.) Carolyn > > > > My smoothie comes out red. I used beets, strawberries, grapes, spinach, and kale. How much spinach do you put in? Also, where do you get your cod liver oil and the other stuff? Do you go to local stores or on the internet? I have a friend who represents a company that makes the most potent omega 3 fish oil. She said it is $100/month for a month’s supply but insurance covers $80 and they give you a $20 voucher, so it is free. I will let you all know what the product is when I speak to her again Monday. > > > >
