Guest guest
Hi , You really need to see your doctor, it could be from your surgery. When I had my gallbladder removed, there was so much infection, I had to wear a tube to drain the stuff out. I have problems with NSAIDS. I have tried most of them, and I have heartburn, and not able to eat. I'm not familiar with all your meds, check the side effects of your meds. Please, keep us posted on how your doing. I will keep you in my thoughts, sending good wishes to you. Take care, Tawny --- In , " ldydewinter04 " <ldydewinter@...> wrote: > > I've been on RA meds since I was diagnosed about 10 months ago. A month ago, I had emergency gall bladder removal. Since then, I have had terrible stomach aches and heartburn. It's worse immediately after eating. Anything I eat sets it off--from cereal to crackers to Italian food. This week it is so bad recently that I am doubled over with the pain and it has kept me awake some nights! Am I crazy? Probably, but is what i am describing sound like an ulcer or something I need to go back to the MD who removed my gallbladder for? I'm seriously considering going to the ER but I hate going to the ER. Again. I just thought I'd check and see if anyone on this board had experienced this from all the meds you have to take. I am on Sythoid, Sulindac, Prednisone, Cymbalta and Orencia-for the moment. > Just went I thought I was getting better.. > >
Guest guest
I suggest you seek medical diagnosis asap. I also have no gall bladder. I had many of the same symptoms and it was celebrex/prednisone induced diabetes. I was also bleeding internally. I was on my meds 7 plus years not short duration like you but....you must be evaluated. Perhaps a walk in medical clinic...much faster and less costly than an emergency room. God bless..... Guest guest
Hi : I have been reading your posts, and I am wondering how you are feeling? Are you still having your painful stomach issues? Have you seen your Dr.? I do hope you are feeling better. I also hope that if you are still feeling the same way, that you have gone to the E.R. or to your Dr. You sound so very sick. I am praying you will get some answers to your issues, and help from your Dr. Wishing you better, pain free days ahead. I care. Hugs, Barbara > > > From: ldydewinter04 ldydewinter@... > Subject: [ ] ulcer or something else?? > > Date: Saturday, July 18, 2009, 5:46 PM > > > > > > > I've been on RA meds since I was diagnosed about 10 months ago. Guest guest
Hi - I'm sorry you're having so much pain after surgery. You might want to get a second opinion. Don't want to scare you here, but when my sister had her gall bladder removed, they nicked her liver and she was having horrible pain afterward. The liver WILL heal itself, it may just take time. You may need some meds to help calm things down in the meantime. Best of luck to you. I feel your pain. Please keep us posted.
