Guest guest
WOW!!! I've been drinking a lot of tea to relax and try to sleep lately and I'm so swollen my sister saw me yesterday and was concerned-thought I'd been in an accident. I'll be laying off tea for a while! Guest guest
At this point I'd believe it. Of course, those who have Rheumatoid have also consumed carrots, lettuce, tomatoes, and probably had way too much pasta in the past. Therefore those will eventually be suspected as a root cause, too. Seriously I have never drunk much tea and I'm not a coffee lover. I think they are grasping at straws. I do drink tea now as I'm sick sick sick of drinking plain or lemon water. Who knows? I may take up drinking coffee. Years ago eggs were bad for you and that whole circle came around to a couple of eggs per week is good for you. The researchers just don't have a clue. Right now I eat and drink what I want and when I want it. I'm doing this and losing weight because all my meds make me queasy so I don't eat much at one time. It's probably better for me to eat " hobbit style " , as in 2nd breakfast, 3rd lunches and 3rd suppers. Guest guest
seems that could be a problem for our British sisters across the pond! I put away rather a lot of tea myself, but some of it's peppermint, etc. rather than " tea " per se. > > Eular 2010 > Press Release > Jun 2010 > > > " Women who consume large amounts of tea have increased risk of > rheumatoid arthritis " : > > http://www.eular.org/congresspressreleases/EUL10PR_FRI0108_press_release_\ _Coffee_and_tea_and_RA_risk__FINAL.pdf > > > > Not an MD >
Guest guest
I am confused about this. Are there many Asians with RA? They drink a LOT of tea!
