Guest guest
I always ask for a copy of my lab results so that I can see the actual numbers. If there is something on there that I don't understand, I google it. I like to know what is going on in my body. When I go to my rheumy, they take blood that same day, so we don't know the results until later, too late for me to ask questions. Of course if there was something wrong, someone would call me. So I would advise getting your own copy of the results. Sue On Mar 29, 2011, at 4:15 PM, cleancolene25 wrote: > Hi Everyone. I am newly diagnosed with RA and have been on MTX for one month, which seems to be helping. I will see my Rheum. Doc this week and now that I've had a month of research and change under my belt I feel better equipped to go over the test results which still confuse me as to how they know I have RA. Does anyone have advice on questions to ask regarding test results? I'm also concerned over my abilty to do my job which is hairdressing. I've done this for 21 years and it's been very difficult for quite sometime. I have modifies my " tools " to lighter ones and cut back on my hours but i fear i won't be able to do this much longer as it hurts my hands, feet, shoulders. I have three kids and feel uneasy about providing in the future. Colene from CO
