Hmmm. I wish I could have hot chocolate chip cookies straight out of the

oven with a glass of icy cold milk that's been frozen and not quite thawed.

I wish I could wash down my burger with my diet coke.

Fourth of July. I want a burger (or 2) and a dog (or 3) and ribs and chicken

and melons and salads and beans and chips and corn on the cob AND I WANT IT

ALL AT ONCE.

So, 4th of July comes once a year. I work on it all day (one of my few

grazing days) and get to taste almost everything. I COULD Have hot cookies

and milk, they still make 'em. But. Even if they didn't make me sick, I

compare the feel of it (I'm very texture oriented these days) and the taste

on my tongue to the feel of a zipper going up without effort or the feel of

a shirt dropping down without hanging up. I know that doesn't work for

everyone.

But the 3 minute food cravings just don't compare with a 12 hour " wear " of

tiny size. It isn't as if I never want the stuff, but it passed so quickly.

If I sort of lie there dormant and let the craving overtake me, I would be

in BIG trouble. I'm not too proud to say that I RUN when raving comes

along! I'm no fool!

And you know I'd say it somewhere, grabbing another protein drink will also

chase those nasties away for me.
