From what I have studied, supplements and the BBD are supposed to be a lifetime regiment for MS'ers. Any input will be appreciated. Hi Katerina, I agree with not changing a winning game. You know, if we were talking about something minor I'd probably go for a bit of trial and error in changing things up. But MS is not something I personally want to mess with - all it takes is one serious attack to lose your vision or stop walking, yk? Not something I want to look back on and regret. Also, have to wonder if what some would perceive as an " addiction " to supplements is really our particular bodies' needs for higher doses. I've read lots of info on the use of megadoses of vitamins for correcting and curing many conditions, so they might very well be necessary for repair and maintenance in our cases. My body didn't let me know in an obvious way that it needed extra Vit D while I was in Alaska for nearly a decade - I'm going to make sure if has more than enough from now on! Guest guest
I think most supplements are fractionated, isolated, heat processed and synthetic. I would recommend that you choose them wisely. As far as what Ashton suggests, his protocol treats PWMS with a " one size fits all " philosophy like we are all the same, statistics. Not like we are individuals, people of different size, age, degree of illness, different causes for disease, different deficiencies or excesses, different diets. His recommendations are a good place to begin your research into what might be best for you. You might need something that is on the list and some things that aren't. > > I listened to his arguments and I got confused.
