I did have IV steroids for 1 week and my symptoms have gotten worse. Numbness was just on my left side but now has taken over my entire body. My hands and feet feel like they are frostbitten. I'm having headaches and now have a cold. The numbness is what I would love to hae go away...please help. Thanks

It's hardcore, and I resisted it for a loooooong time, but fasting is the one thing that gets me back on track FAST. If you haven't done any detoxing prior to this, you may have detox symptoms but I can't imagine they'll be worse than what you're already dealing with. Guest guest
I use the Swank MS Diet (for 7 months now) and have eliminated exacerbations. The Best Bet Diet is also an option. MRIs have provided proof. I am a firm believer in Swank's MS Diet. Google them. -Tim
Guest guest
Hi I agree with Tim RE: Diet as a HUGE benefit to our health. I have been on the Best Bet Diet (BBD) for a couple of years now and with the diet AND keeping stress in a limited little box, I stay very well. You can find a lot on the BBD by going to www.msrc.co.uk or www.direct-ms.org I found it to be a bigger change than the Swank diet, but after having read the outlines of both, felt that the BBD suited my body's needs in a far better way (food reactions, bloating etc). It is as always you and your body's decision as to what will be best for you. The MSRC site has a good rundown on the supplements too. 'What we do in life, echoes through eternity.' Guest guest
" I am currently having my 2nd exacerbation..... " Tell us what you are currently doing now or have tried in the past so we dont suggest something you already are doing or have tried. ie. are you gluten free ? what diet are you on ? do you consume aspartame ? etc.
