Hi Bernie, I found it a lot easier to start with very short fasts anyways. I just did short water-only fasts. I would go from Friday night after dinner, through Saturday, until Sunday morning. It ends up being anywhere from 32 to 36 hours. I still try to do this once or twice a month but sometimes life gets in the way. It's a great way to recharge myself, I wake up on Sunday morning feeling on top of the world. I just make sure that I don't have a lot going on that day and take it easy. And it's surprising but I find I sleep very well on Saturday night, despite my empty stomach! It's really all a mental game, and I think when you get used to the feeling, it's a lot easier to move into a longer juice fast.
