Dear all,

You will have seen a strange email from me with a link to

http://telepower.com.sa/69581.html. I have absolutely no idea what it is or who

seems to have sent it from me. I have been spending half the day emailing

people out of my address book after they have replied to say they cannot open

it. I tried and it was something in German, I think, which I do not understand.

I hope it is not very rude. Anyway, please delete it asap. My son who works in

computing is trying to get at what has happened.

Anyway, please ignore.

Judith

Hi

This will almost certainly be people 'spamming' from your e-mail. You may have a

virus, but it could also be a company 'mirroring' your e-mail address. Basically

this means that they are sending spam but making it look as though it is coming

from you. This is happening to me with one of my e-mails and there is,

unfortuntely, nothing you can do about it.

However, i am now thinking that as they sending e-mails to your address book,

you may have clicked on a similar e-mail sent to you and then this has started

spamming from your e-mail account to all those in your addresss book.

Have you got an anti-virus on your system? Like Norton etc? As I say, it may not

even be a virus, but rather a spamming 'spider' as they are sometimes called

that will just keep doing this from your e-mail. Just run your anti-virus checks

to be sure first though.

Hope this helps, Adam
