Steve,

You spoke of doing a spreadsheet for your prescriptions/conditions. I did that a few years back. I always have an updated copy with me. I always take an updated copy to all my doctor visits. It is so easy for me (because I don't have to fill out those stupid forms for meds) and the nurses and docs love people who are organized.

I group mine by doctor's name, number and phone #. I put the specialty under thier name. Then the medicine and dosage. When the meds change it is easy to do the changes to the chart.

I also carry a paper with all my docs numbers, ins, 02 provider, etc. It has dates of surgeries, shot record and things like that which is hard to remember.

Take a day, do that and all you have to do after that is edit time to time. I hope you feel stronger soon. Being so anemic makes you want to stay under the covers in the morning. I hope they can help you correct that.

I wear jewelry, too that informs EMT people where my printed info is. I keep copies on the fridge. When the EMTs came in the other night, the first thing they did was to get that information. They spread it out and snapped pictures of it. Cool. I always heard that you should keep it on the fridge. Turned out to be true.
