I've done several water fasts. My longest is 25 days. I experience a lot of

detox reactions, and when it was over I had a serious reduction in ms

symptoms.

I used my own herbal tea (no sweetener) blends for detox and mild

nutritional support. I used magnesium dissolved in water to help keep

bowels moving.

I didn't have $1000 to drop on a medically supervised fast, so I researched

it to death and decided what was best for me.

For a cheaper, supervised water fast from certified nutritionists, contact

Alternative Health, Inc in Southwick, Massachusetts

They can do everything via the phone and mail. The cost is reasonable. They

send you supplements and a measuring bottle for mixing water maple syrup and

be careful with the master cleanse if you have asthma. I found out the hard

way. I tried to do a 10 day master cleanse and landed in the emergency room

with one nasty asthma attack. It seems that maple syrup

can aggravate asthma.

Hi Mike,

I feel I get benefit from short fasts and would like to do a longer one too. I

looked into Loren Lockman's facility where one does a water fast in residence in

Panama in a log cabin type setting with nothing around but nature. I decided no

because I heard some negative things about the facility and about Loren.

However, in my correspondences with him, he told me that he has had several PWMS

over the years who have all improved quite a bit from long water

fasting--minimum he says though is 21 days of fasting to get really signficant

results. If you do it, please let us know how it goes.
