Guest guest
I take nattokinase (enzyme) and I have eaten tempeh and miso without having problems but I wouldn't touch natto. Snot doesn't appeal to me nd that's what natto looks like! I ferment raw milk and vegetables and I make sourdough (fermented) bread with sprouted spelt and wheat flour. I believe that how it's prepared makes a difference. I eat oatmeal that's soaked with apple cider vinegar, seasalt, sprouted wheat flour and water everyday. Fermentation digests gluten. > > > > Isn't miso made from soy? > > > > Yeah, but there's debate as to whether fermentation alters the proteins enough to make them harmless (would include tempeh and natto along with miso). It may be ok, but I haven't tried it yet myself as I had a particularly bad reaction to soy after starting BBD. A nutritionist at FMC who was really on top of all this stuff rather than following mainstream dietary advice told me the same about Rejuvelac, which would be fermented rye. But I haven't tried it yet either! > > Crystal >

Don't think I could drink it after watching it in process. Do you make kefir? Have been thinking about trying to do that myself.
