Guest guest
Hello Everyone, I was diagnosed with RA in Jan 09, and have had issues with pain since the beginning. I have also had intermittent tingling in my hands and feet. I thought I had neuropathy and my doctor put me on meds for neuopathy. Three months ago, my toes and feet started getting numb. I finally went and had a peripheral artery disease (PAD) test done on my feet. I have significant PAD disease in my feet and legs, which means my legs and feet aren't getting enough blood. I am going to have a nerve conduction test later this week to see if my nerves are affected. Does anyone else have these problems with PAD? I never had these issues with numbness and tingling until my RA diagnosis. Could the RA be causing the PAD? I will also have my SSDI hearing later this spring, and wonder if the PAD diagnosis will help my social security case? Thanks!
