Guest guest
Cheylenna, So glad to hear you are managing to combat this MonSter a bit. For the pain I'd use medical marijuana, magnesium oil (a spray) and exercise but you've no doubt thought of all that. To what do you ascribe your regaining of balance? I am doing well after CCSVI treatment but still haven't got my balance back and without balance, I can't see walking ever becoming brilliant. Janet To: mscured From: la_cayena@... Guest guest
Hi everyone. I am usually very quiet. I have MS too. The best exercises I have found for helping my strenght is barre workouts. I really enjoy physique 57 dvds. It seems to focuses on the muscles that are damaged or having trouble getting the messages by the nerves. It is helping me to walk. It feels like my nerves are communicating the messages better to the muscles by doing the dvds.  I am not a PT or anything, but I can say the workouts are working for me for some mysterious reason.  It targets all the core muscles and arm muscle and is gentle and easy to use. I have found over a month of doing the dvds I can now walk faster and with better coordination most days. I still have good and bad days. I can walk up hills faster and engage my muscles much better than before. I have much better control of my muscles than before. I am able to talk to them and get them to work better when they are being stubborn and not wanting to work and they respond after doing barre workouts. The barre workouts retrain the quads, hamstrings, glutes, abs, all the core muscles. It has made such a big difference for me. I have done resistance bands and weight lifting and nothing else has worked like these dvds. I would encourage you to try them out. http://www.physique57.com/ I don't work for them or anything. I am just reporting my success with them and how its affecting my ms. I am totally impressed with it. My coordination and flexibility is improving. Its a workout I can do without overheating and over doing it. There aren't too many workouts that I can do without wearing myself out and be effective. Joy ________________________________ To: MS-Cured <mscured > Sent: Mon, February 7, 2011 10:15:45 AM Subject: RE: Balance (Cheylenna)  Cheylenna, So glad to hear you are managing to combat this MonSter a bit.
