Guest guest
Many holistic Docs offer Chelation Therapy. It is an IV that eliminates the majority of heavy metals in the body's blood stream. I had 10 treatments, 60 minutes each. The cost was $90.00 per session - without insurance. I have no experience with the supplements you inquire about. > > > What are people doing to reduce the iron deposits in the brain? > > Earlier in the year I was trying to beat a high mercury count and have been using chlorella, shortly to be joined by cilantro. I have been taking it very slowly and even so get, what I call, chlorella dreams. It happens with spirulina too. Vivid, often scary dreams. > > Anyway, what I wondered was would chlorella help reduce the iron too? Two other supplements I take have been noted to help in some literature - ALA and MSM. > > Thanks and happy holidays everyone. > Janet > >
Guest guest
Well, you did CCSVI. Isn't that enough? Too little iron is as bad as too much. I think a bigger issue is getting the iron to where it needs to be instead of it pooling in your brain. Don't eat foods with iron. I'm adding more fat to my diet. Guest guest
Yes I had CCSVI treatment but that doesn't remove the iron deposits that are already there. I'm doing ALA, pycnogenol, milk thistle, chlorella (but don't know if that helps iron removal), alcohol in moderation. Have stopped green tea while on blood-thinners as they interact. Anyone done IP6? I have read that iron deposits in the brain is distinct from iron in the blood so a person maybe anaemic and still have an iron overload in the brain. Guest guest
i had the liberation treatment and am taking ip6 by nutraceutical to help dissolve the excess iron in my brain. it is my understanding that this does not pull the iron that is attached to hemoglobin only the 'free iron'. i've been using it for 3 months and have no side effects. i bought it from vitacost. Guest guest
Dr. Lawrence specializes in eliminating toxic metals and balancing minerals (including removing excess iron, calcium, copper, etc.) without chelation. He has a great website with million articles on all kinds of health problems related to metal toxicities and mineral imbalances. Here are his articles: http://www.drlwilson.com/READ%20ARTICLES.htm He first wishes to see a hair analysis pattern and then makes a specialized program for each person. There is so much information on his website, that one would be able to heal without his consultation, provided that one has hair mineral analysis results. It is not just about removing toxic metals, but about rebalancing minerals such as sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, zinc, copper...
