Guest guest
That is really scary, having nodules in your lungs. That is one thing that this disease differs in from the osteo type: It can affect your internal organs. I wonder if my lungs are also being affected because I did have a pleurisy (inflammation around the sac of the lungs) episode with this ordeal. I would wake up with my bladder full and it hurt to breath deeply. I got some relief after urinating, but the pain continued to some degree. This occured off and on in the past two weeks. It scares me that possibly I could get pericarditis (inflammation around the sac that contains the heart). I try not to worry myself to death since I know that can cause flares in this disease, but it is so hard not to. I took a couple medical terminology classes and anatomy/physiology classes in college, and I think that makes me worry more since I know about how serious those kinds of complications can be. It is good to be able to come here and chat with others who have the same worries. My family is really beginning to worry about me now too. I plan to let my neurologist know that I think I may be experiencing pleurisy. I appreciate everything and I sure hope you are feeling well.
