Guest guest
Katcha, It was good for me to hear your recent journey and discovery. Yes! Those uncomfortable sensations and feelings that fall under the radar are tricky indeed. Isn't it wonderful that when you name what's going on...really identify it...those weird eating patterns stop?! I had a similar situation last week...I've been stressing out about interviewing for new full-time positions and I pushed the anxiety aside...I didn't want to feel it...and I started feeling compelled to eat when I wasn't hungry. When I went inside myself...I realized the anxiety was "driving" me and felt it....low and behold the compulsive need to eat vanished. I've made a commitment to myself to check in with myself (a stressor assessment) more regularly AGAIN as a preventative measure and allow the feelings to flow. Definitely a circuitous journey.
