Hi Judy,

What worked for me was drinking cranberry juice and live yoghurt and also

smearing the live yoghurt on my " girlie bits " .

The things us girlies put up with!!!!!

Best wishes

I have been getting steroid injections in my spine (epidural nerve block in

cervical and lumbar spine) in addition th the MXT and Placqunil and other meds.

For the past 3 months I have been battling Thrush! I get it, take the swish and

swallow drug Nistatin and it goes away only to return in a few days!

I am not on prednisone because of the horrible side effects I had from it. Now

it seems that those same side effects are happening with the steroid injections.

It got worse after December 30th when I also had hip bursitis so bad I

couldn't walk. The doctor that gave me the epidural nerve block treated the

hip the same day. Ever since I've had thrush, been on an emotional roller

coaster of ups and down and also unable to sleep unless I took an Rx sleeping

pill that knocks me out for 1/2 of the day as well.

Since the Thrush is the newest of my health issues, I'm wondering if anyone

else has had this problem from either steroids or prednisone and if they have

found any relief other than the swish and swallow Nistatin?

Any suggestions or recommendations are greatly appreciated!

Hugs,

Judy
