Guest guest
Hi Barbara & all I have a large nodule on the ball of my left foot ( I almost said " hoof " -- I have too many critters around here I guess. ) and 4 inbetween toes. They will have to be surgically removed at some point. Most days are pretty tolerable, but some are insanely painful. My Podiatrist injected Cortisone cocktail gel in the top of my foot ( OMG wow it hurt! ) and now half of each foot is numb. I guess the feeling will come back soon like it does w/ back injections. He also gave me gel sleeves for my toes to help keep the pressure off of them. Hopefully, it'll be a good while before I'll need surgery. I am right at the beginning of milking and cheesemaking season and I can't, just CAN'T have any more surgeries now right after finally getting mobile since the last 2. All of my Dairy goats have given birth and after selling more than half of my herd, I will only be milking 4 this year. 4 milked twice a day for 10 months of the year is hell on the hands. The good news is, that it is impossible to watch baby goats play and not smile. There are 10 babies to watch at play this year. They are a week old now and doing flips all over the place. What a hoot! Barbara- you such a love to share with all of us your happiness and pain. You are always so supportive and one of the reasons that this group is so good. Thank you for being here. Gentle hugs-- in SC Hi Chris. I don't have RA nodules between my toes, but do have them on each foot right under the arch on the outside. The one on my right foot got so big and was very painful. It also made it hard for me to walk. I have it surgically removed 4 months ago. Mine was in such a bad place, it took a lot of time to heel, but is fine now.
