Guest guest
Hi all, I am just wondering what pain medications are inexpensive and have worked well for you. I have Fibromyalgia, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Raynauds, and possibly Lupus. I have tried Voltaren-it didn't work at all for 1 week and then was not as strong as motrin. I tried naproxin for three days and it didn't help at all and my knees swelled up so bad that I stopped it and went back to motrin. I tried mobic and it worked wonders but it caused stomach pain so I had to stop it. And last but not least, I tried amitriptiline and it was very helpful but made me sleepy all the time and it made my heart race. Today my rheumy gave me a script for celebrex but when I took it to the pharmacy they said that my doctor would have to write a letter to the insurance company to get the drug approved-I have no idea how long that will take. In the meantime, I thought I would see what has worked for you all that is inexpensive if possible. It is going to cost me $40 a month for the Celebrex even after my insurance approves it.
