Guest guest
Hi, My name is Darla and I'm new to the group. I found out, through an MRI in 2000, that I have ACM I. I have suffered headaches most of my adult life and neckpain since the birth of our first child (I had an epidural with both children). In 1999 I had sinus surgery, which alleviated some pain behind my eyes, but the headaches and neck pain have remained. That was when the ENT decided to ask for the MRI. I have been seeing a neurologist for over a year now, who has prescribed me with antidepressants. She diagnosed me as being depressed and having migraines. She said the Chiari Malformation was too small to be symptomatic. Yet, here I am with the same pain, the same ringing in the ears. Have any of you had the same experience with Neurologists? I have my next appointment on Sept. 24th, and want to bring this up, but feel timid and put off about the whole thing. Am I wrong to question her? Thank you, Darla __________________________________________________
