Guest guest
Hello j_davis_27_@... (J. L. ), In reference to your comment: è Well, I just got feedback that I should have transcribed è Perma-Cath, not PermCath, tonight. Ain't that just the è way?! Obviously they were using Tessier's Surgical Word Book as a reference instead of MT Desk or Vera Pyle. Tessier lists it as Perma-Cath and that's how I've been transcribing it for years, and didn't know it was PermCath until it came up on this list. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks? Sounds like the " dogs " giving you feedback need to learn a few tricks too Jan " Typing is my life " (said sarcastically) Remember... WSTPMTR (which means, whoever signs the paycheck makes the rules).
Guest guest
I did e-mail back and let them know what happened on the list the other night, and they did look it up and find PermCath. So they said they're not sure if either one is incorrect since Stedman's spell checker accepted both. If they want it Perma-Cath though, Perma-Cath it is. Remember... Guest guest
Sorry I'm just now getting back. I have every other weekend off when we have visitation of my step-son. Yes, it was the same proofer. It all happened in the same night I was working. Sent the op note in, she sent feedback, I e-mailed and told you guys, sent her back an e-mail that people here had references with PermCath, and she sent back and said she'd found it, too. ----Original Message Follows---- To: <nmtc > Subject: Re: PermCath/Perma-Cath Date: Fri, 11 Jan 2002 06:07:53 -0600 Is this the same QC person or two different ones?
