Guest guest
I am 43yrs old, since my 20's, I have been diagnosis with.. > *polycystic ovarian syndrome > *IBS > *metabolic syndrome (increased insullin levels w/ normal glucose levels > and high blood pressure) > *interstisial cysitis (bladder) > *depression > *obesity > *RA > > my RA diagnosis came about 5 yrs ago. I was on monocycline, it didn't seem to do much of anything for me. The Rheumy Doc decided not put me on anything and receck in 3mths. I went to my PCP, she put me on Celebrex.....WOW, that worked, but gave me heart palpatations. I have not been on prescription meds for RA since (about 3+yrs). I changed insurances and decided to visit another RA doctor. He did an exam, talked to me a little and said that I didn't have RA. My whole life has changed over the years and I feel like I am at least 20yrs older than I am. The new doc said " you look great, there is no swelling or redness, no enlarged joints. I see nothing to treat. " I have seen my body change over the years. I can no longer get on my knees, I can not even bend them to squat. My shoulders are sore and pop when I move them. My elbows are sore to the touch. My pain tolerance is very low. I am tired all the time. I have boney changes in my fingers, knees, and feet. My thyroid is normal, my RA factor is negative. My CPK is high. A stress test showed left side heart enlargement (said it was common with high blood pressure). Need your thoughts please. Guest guest
, I can't speak to your diagnosis, but given your other medical problems, have you considered ruling out celiac disease or at least doing a trial of a gluten free diet?
