Hello,

I know there was some discussion not too long ago about hot tubs and their

benefits, but I don't remember if anyone mentioned getting a prescription

for one. Has anyone here asked their doctor for a prescription or a letter

for a hot tub, and then used it as an expense on their taxes? Just curious

if it's possible or not, because someone told me it was. Thanks.

That's what I did when I bought mine, but that was almost 20 years ago.

Rules may have changed since then. Even memory foam beds can be prescribed

and exempt from taxes as long as there's a script. Lots of things can save

you money with a cooperative doctor.
