Guest guest
Hello, I know there was some discussion not too long ago about hot tubs and their benefits, but I don't remember if anyone mentioned getting a prescription for one. Has anyone here asked their doctor for a prescription or a letter for a hot tub, and then used it as an expense on their taxes? Just curious if it's possible or not, because someone told me it was. Thanks. Patty
Guest guest
That's what I did when I bought mine, but that was almost 20 years ago. Rules may have changed since then. Even memory foam beds can be prescribed and exempt from taxes as long as there's a script. Lots of things can save you money with a cooperative doctor.
