I've posted before that I am a compulsive weigher. I used to step on the scale three times a day at least. I shoved it in the closet last week and have been doing rather well, but this morning the urge was too strong and I gave in. It's so humid here right now and I know this makes me retain water like fury, so why I *had* to weigh today I'll never know. Of course, I the number on the scale was higher than I thought it should be.Usually this number would be enough to send me screaming back to Weight Watchers checkbook in hand. This time my first thought was that I should probably try to get some activity in and keep myself properly hydrated in so I feel less bloated. I think that is progress! And the scale? Back in the closet. Under things this time.
