Guest guest
Greetings, all. I'm not necessarily " happy " to join a group like this, if you know what I mean because of the topic. But I think it is great that a group like this exists. I am waiting for an official diagnosis, but after three years of my SED rate going up, slightly down, skyward, then going down slightly, and getting severe back pain in the past 1.5 years (early morning only), I have most recently tested positive (and high) for RF levels, and also (again/still) have elevated CRP levels. I'm not able to see my rheumatologist for a few weeks, so I most likely won't even have a diagnosis until after the new year. BUT... it seems w/ certain pains that I do have, plus this recent news, that I may have some sort of autoimmune disorder (AI). I won't speculate on what I may have because there's no sense scaring myself and I don't want to diagnose myself, but I _have_ read as much as I can find online about a positive RF factor. Just a few details: I'm female and 33. These two factors (female and young-ish?) seem to be two common factors when it comes to being diagnosed w/ an AI disorder. I am sure I will learn a lot from this group, and it is good to know that there are support sites out there. Best, KR
