Guest guest
Hi - I have had neck pain for several years and my RA doc had x-rays done on my neck and found an area w/ degenerative arthritis. I don't have a hump or anything but it hurts 24/7 most days. Worse in the morning and late afternoon.. Sometimes, it actually gives me a headache. in SC ltdavis_jrdavis@... From: eandsspivey <emilyspivey@...> Subject: [ ] RA and neck pain Date: Thursday, August 6, 2009, 8:16 AM Short history....I have RA, OA and FMS. I have not seen my rheumatologist for 1 1/2 years for financial reasons. Suddenly my neck, where the neck turns into the back, has a huge hump and hurts very bad. I can't get into the rheumatologist until Sept. 1 so I saw my GP today for a steroid dosepak to get me by. He said the neck hump and pain is arthritic and will only get worse. I'm wondering if the rheumatologist will be able to help me. Does anyone with RA have neck problems? Thanks,
