Guest guest
(((((((((((((((((Judi))))))))))))))))) ! This is (used to be screen name) Tess!!! I am now going by my given name of Cheryle. It is SO good to 'see' you. I have thought about you, Ron and family many times over these past years. My daughter Emmy was dx'd with MS 2 1/2 years ago and has yet to go into remission. You know she had plenty of struggles to start with and is at a bit of a rather difficult turning point. I have been working part-time for the American Red Cross and loved it but the funding was cut July 15 so no more job. It was such a good fit for me and my limitations. But...I believe God will open up another door. As much as it pains my heart that us 'old timers' such as you, Debs and myself had to be 'here' to find each other I am so grateful that even after years we still can share a great friendship. Georgia didn't work out, too hot, too buggy, and too much time babysitting. My husband is 72 and has Parkinson's, so I am his caregiver in addition to dealing with my own challenges. So we moved back to northern Illinois, now living in a wonderful apartment complex with free golf, a fitness center, and a pool. We've both adjusted to our health shortfalls with new interests, and serving our church. > > I just wanted to check in and say hi to all my old friends and some new ones, and if you have never heard of Dercum's, check it out on the web. It's considered a rare disease, but maybe more under-diagnosed or misdiagnosed than rare. > > Judi the Zebra
