Thanks for writing to me, and your nice words to me.  Believe me, so many people

here have been so much of a help to me.  Everyone has supported me in my good

times and my bad times.  I am glad if I can help one person here.  We all know

the daily struggle we have, and that awful pain we have to deal with.  It was a

very happy day when I found this wonderful group.

 

When I had a bad fall 2 years go, I broke my foot and shattered my shoulder.  I

spent 3 months in the hospital, and they would not let me fly home until I was

in good shape.  Well, one day I got a wonderful phone call from one of our

members here.  It was Melynda who lives in Texas.  We share a great friendship

since day one.  When she said her name, I started to cry.  I was so happy to

hear from her and talk with her.  She has been a wonderful friend to me.  I was

so shocked she called me from Texas.  My daughter let the group know I was

in the hosp. Everyone sent notes to me, and she would read them to me.  I so

appreciate hearing from everybody.

 

This is an exceptional group of wonderful caring, loving peopel.  I would be

lost without everyone here.

Oh was it nice to hear from you... quite different then the message I just got

from another web site.

actually it was sooo bad I turned the guy in.. we'll see what happens.. guess

I'll go off of that one..

I had a good day.. went to a niece's graduation.. had some pain but not bad..

I'm hanging in there..

trying the antibiotic protocol.. I'm going on my 4th week with it.. and no RA

meds.. so I'm thankful..

that so far so good.. Much better then 2 yrs ago when i got hit fast and hard

with the RA...

wasn't that awesome that Melynda called you... now that's a true wonderful

friend... bless her..

I am happy you are feeling so good.  What a relief for you.  Now you can enjoy

your life again, pain free.

Yes, Melynda is a very special person to me.  Right from the beginning, we

became friends.  It is hard for us to explain, but we so enjoy being friends. 

I called her Sat. night, and we were glad to talk for a long time.  She is just

so very nice and sweet.  RA struck her at a very young age, but she is trying

to have a life.  She is very, very sick with this ugly disease.  I don't know

if I could deal with what she has to deal with each day.  Just hearing her

voice makes me cry.  She was so blessed with a beautiful daughter.  That is

Melynda's brightest star.  I am so happy that she has her too.

I hope you have continued success with dealing with your RA.  I am so happy

when anyone here gets out of that horrible pain.  May you have many more pain

free days ahead.
