Guest guest
Yes, I do experience this when I drink plain coffee. To combat this effect, I put skim milk in my coffee. Helps with the hunger and I get some calcium, too. I love my coffee, I’d never think of ever giving it up! Hope this helps you, too. There are some people I know who drink caffeine and it doesn't have any ill effects on them. I swear though, that when I drink it I feel really hungry about an hour later. Does anyone else experience this? I turn to caffeine alot because I am a new mom and feel like I need it. But I wonder if it is making me hungrier, thus making it harder to lose weight? Guest guest
Caffeine is a diuretic and it dehydrates you so your body may be asking for the fluids, e.g., water to be replinished - may not even be hunger. I know I love my coffee and have a couple of cups a day, however, I always have water afterward. Hope this helps.
