Re: methotrexate med and infections, what to do?

My RA doctor told me to always stop taking the Methotrexate until 2 weeks

after taking antibiotics. Stop taking 3 months if scheduled for any surgery

if possible. I bruise very easily now taking the Methotrexate. I thought it

was due to just getting older, but after being asked if I bruise easily

now since being on the Methotrexate by the nurse a few visits ago, I guess it

is from the Methotrexate. I bump into something or my grandpuppy jumps up

on my lap he leaves my thighs and arms spotted with small bruises. I fell

last year outside and the next day I was bruised on my right side from

shoulder to feet.
