Guest guest
My skin loves water too, but water alone doesn't clean it enough for me. I use E45 emollient wash which leaves a layer of moisturiser after rinsing. It's the best thing I've come across and counters that feeling of tightness I used to get with other facial washes. > >I've found that I've seen the least redness if I only wash with water.. >does >anyone else NOT use a cleanser. cea isn't related to clogged pores so I >don't see why water alone wouldn't be enough. Guest guest
For years now, I have been washing my face only with water and I also feel that it is enough -- it doesn't seem to affect whether I get blackheads, pimples or not. Like many people, I have " combination " skin -- oily in some places, drier in others. But until my recent outbreak of rosacea, I was even proud of my " young-looking " skin, which I partially credited to not drying my face out with soap. For once a week exfoliation, I recommend the Body Shop's Japanese Washing Grains. The only ingredients are dried, ground azuki beans, which you gently rub on your face to loosen dead skin and scrub pores. Follow with moisturizer. It is not in itself irritating but use with caution if your skin is very sensitive, I guess.
