Statins are cholesterol-lowering drugs. Some examples:

Lipitor (astorvastatin)

Crestor (rosuvastatin)

Zocor (simvastatin)

Vytorin (ezetimibe/simvastatin)

Caduet (amlodipine/atorvastatin)

They can cause cramping and other serious muscle issues.
