Guest guest
I have read that Zyrtec has a slightly higher incidence of causing drowsiness than Allegra or Claritin do, so it's possible that some of the other side effects might be worse with some antihistimines than with others. For anyone who is having problems with Zyrtec, it might be worth trying one of the other two. carol_clark@... on 03/30/99 03:12:22 PM To: rosacea-supportegroups cc: (bcc: Cohn/OGEN/FarmCredit) Subject: Re: zyrtec I took the Zyrtec for about 5 days in a row, and I think it made me feel a little down (depressed). I checked to see if that was a side effect and it was listed (in the rare category). I tend to be very sensitive to meds. I also felt kind of " spacey " . Anyway, I've discontinued for now and am using the dye free benadryl as needed. I actually think it works better on the redness. Just another example that we are all unique and need to stayed tuned to our bodies messages. wrote: Original Article: /list/rosacea-support/?start=2792 > I found also that Zyrtec gives me heart palpitations and the dry spinny head > feeling similar to how pseudoephidrine (the flu medication) makes me feel.
