Welcome L so glad to have you with us. Eva

Hi everyone! I'm L, another newbie! Even though I'm only 30, I have been on way too many diets to count. I love food, I love cooking, and I love enjoying a wide variety of foods! The problem is my mind has been cluttered with all kinds of food labels - ones that say white bread is horrible for you, ones that say full fat cream is bad for you, etc etc...it never ends!I just want to give up this mentality once and for all. I was doing very well last year, and then something got into my head saying I should make better choices. I know that is not the truth. What I need to do is honor my hunger. I need to eat when I'm hungry, and stop when I'm satisfied.I am excited to meet everyone!L. ------------------------------------

Hey everyone.

I just joined your group tonight and am very excited about being able

to share, give, and get support with people who are working toward the

same thing as me. I've been dieting on and off for about 8 years now.

I've tried calorie-counting, weight watchers, south beach, abs, and

lots of other diets that I could never stick with. I always felt like

such a failure, so I'm really excited about this approach. I'm still

only partway through the book, and I've only been eating intuitively

for 2 days now, but I love the concept of getting in touch with my body.

I'm 26yo SAHM from Seattle, WA. I have two daughters, a 3yo and a 7mo,

and a husband who can eat anything he ever wants to without ever

gaining an ounce. I'm looking forward to my new way of eating!
