Rough day at work

We started a new contract at my job. We now have full control of the cleaning

in our building. Today was a nightmare, first I went to go get the cart and I

had no spray bottles, no mop, and was missing chemicals to clean with. So I had

to go hunt them all down and ended up having to hide them at the end of the day

so they don't go missing tomorrow. But that was the least of my issues. I

barely slept last night so I'm dead tired and I used up too many spoons today

more then I actually had. At 11am I had an individual who decided she didn't

want to work and started to go off, really running at the mouth so I had to send

her to her rehab counselor. Then at 11:10 I had another individual decide he

was going to wonder off and not work and had to call him back 3 times to the

group. Next at 12:20, I had an individual which I consider one of my favorites

go off, he walked out of the room we were cleaning then walked back in and got

inches from my face and said " f*** that s*** " and then wonder back off again.

Then at lunch at 1:05 another individual was holding a tray full of dishes in

food services and one of my individuals decided to walk over to him and knock

the tray out of his hands. Then the same individual decided at 2pm to grab one

of the behavior techs and push her into a wall and then punch another staff

member in the chest.

Now I'm tired from it all and still have to go pick up a lawn mower and feed the

kids and I'm having a friend over to recharge the air conditioner in my truck.

Maybe I will sleep tonight for once. Have a pain free day and night and hope

your day was easier then mine.
