Guest guest
Does anyone know where Betty Gates lives as she was talking about having 8 to 12 inches of rain? Excuse my ignorance but is Dakota up near Canada? I never really complain about rain as I know people even in this country have been flooded and lost everything. I think in Dakota it's been caused by snow thawing out and the flood defences couldn't cope. Your government has swung into action and 3500 have been evacuated already. Thank God. x From: giambifan2001 <giambifan2001> Subject: [ ] steroid injections in neck @gro ups.com Date: Saturday, 28 March, 2009, 12:02 PM Hi, I am going to get a steroid injection into my neck on Tuesday due to my herniated disc problems and would like to know if this would affect you like oral steroids do.I was on the steroid pills once and I gained weight and was the wicked witch of the west(or in my case the northeast!)Does the medication only stay where they inject it or does it go into your bloodstream? If this doesnt work, I wont go for another. My neurologist said eventually I will just need surgery anyway. Thanks so much for any input. And also into Canada. I've been grateful for colder weather, because I know it's slowing down the crest of the flood. I don't live near the flooded are though. I'm having some kind of flare in my feet. It started Friday and I thought perhaps I have forgotten to take Celebrex. It feels like every bone and joint in my feet hurt -- like when I don't take Celebrex. dd **************A Good Credit Score is 700 or Above. See yours in just 2 easy steps! Guest guest
Hi DD, Thanks for letting me know the geography of the area. Sorry to hear about the pain in your feet. It's horrible isn't it. A couple of years ago I had a steroid injection into mine, didn't like that at all and got no benefit. What I do now most days, is give them a good soak in a bowl of warm water and mustard of all things. Not the American as it's too mild, but either French or English. Best wishes x From: dgd301@... <dgd301@...> Subject: Re: [ ] Re STORMS IN AMERICA OT Date: Saturday, 28 March, 2009, 6:26 PM In a message dated 3/28/2009 9:37:07 A.M. Guest guest
Until the last flood of the Red River in MN, I didn't know of it's existence. The only Red River I knew of is the one that runs on the border of Texas and Oklahoma. That confused me when I heard reports of flooding and we were in a drought. I don't know of another river that has a namesake. Dennis in eastexas On Sat, Mar 28, 2009 at 1:26 PM, <dgd301@...> wrote: > In a message dated 3/28/2009 9:37:07 A.M.
