Kate,, I will sure ask my derm about that. My toenails are so thick I can't use

nail clippers to cut them. I was cutting the top end  off in little peices. It

would grow over to the next toe and cut into it. I really appreciate your input

on this. ty.

I went today to get free sample enbrel from my rheumy. I got 2. I am waiting for

my insuranse to app[rove it. I took Enbrel with my last rheumy. She gave me so

many problems that I dropped her and it took 3 months to see another RA doc. So

I been off enbrel for about 3 months. It didnt help the pain. I guess she kept

me on it cause it stop[ed the progression of RA.

I am allergic to Plaquenil, Methrotrexate, I have to get my list of allergies

off my primary doc cause I forget what I am allergic too, till some one brings

it up. I am allergic to my favorite, Asprin

Clora, I'm sorry to hear of the psoriatric arthritis problems and I do hope the

Enbrel kicks in soon. My friend is a dermatologist and she swears by Enbrel for

PA. I would ask your dermatologist about how to manage the crumbling nails. I

wonder if he/she could debride (sp) or file them down so they don't hurt as much

and encourage new growth. Kate F
