Guest guest
Hi DD....I bet you are really sick of those appts. not only for yourself. Poor hubby. How is he doing know? I hope alot better. My daughter may have Hashimotos disease so they will find out this week. plus she turned 40 on saturday and her dr told her she is menopausal. Poor girl. She said I feel sooo old. I said, put yourself in my place. LOL She doesn't look 40 so that's good. Just feels it. used to have to go in for platelets...his counts got so low with his leukemia. How is your son doing? I'm sorry that he has brain damage. How sad and I know it is hard on you. I hope he is doing better now. I heard that sometimes a special practice dr can come into the hospital room, pick up the chart for the patient, read it and walk out and it costs the patient $250. One of our talk show hosts on the radio said he had to put a sign on the hospital room door that he isn't paying for a dr to walk in, read a chart, leave and charge him. If the dr is not approved by him, he isn't paying. His dad was an older man and he said he was charged ao much just by other specialists walking in the room. he put a stop to that. I'm sorry that you're depressed. It has to be so hard taking care of everyone..and I know you worry. it would be nice to have a break from all of that. I think we all need a good vacation on the beach. Hugs..a A little over a month ago, my husband was taken to the ER by ambulance. It turned out he had meningitis, which may or may not have been caused by an intrathecal pump that was put in him. Then I had all my appointments for Crohn's, RA and thyoid tests.Last Friday our brain-injured son was taken to ER. He had a bad bladder infection and Depakote had made his platelets really low. His blood pressure was dangerously low. The thing I hate the most is that there are special doctors who follow people in the hospital and their own doctors are not even notified. Each time I go sit with my son, I get depressed and fatigued. It feels like just too much. dd
