Hi barbara..well, so far, so good. That's all I've ever been on. plus the

enbrel which has worked tremendously for me. a Godsend. I've been on that

since 05.

I almost bought a lift chair. we did buy one for my dad and when he passed

away, we gave it to a friend of theirs. whose wife uses it now.

I had some problems with my knees and I was about a week away from buying a

liftchair but the knees got better and have been fine ever since. But I

still have the ad to buy one when the time comes. Dave has a recliner but I

can't even manage that little lever on the side to bring the foot part up or

down. LOL Those are tough. But down the road, I will be getting one. I

know how comfy they are. I loved my dads.

I don't use a walker or a cane. It wouldn't be a bad idea getting a nice

cane though. I walk but spend most of my time looking down. I'm not into

flea markets or festivals where there is uneven terrain...my head is down the

whole time watching where I'm going). LOL Can't even look at the sales,

I'm so busy looking down. Just plop me on a bench somewhere next to a porta

potty and I'll be okay. I

I always wondered when we were young and went to amusement parks or

anywhere totally fun why the parents and elders sat on the benches...now I know.

I'm so glad that you have your lift chair..they're wonderful.

I just took it easy today. I sit at the computer most of the day. I'm in

chemoangels.com its a group that supports cancer patients during their

treatment. I'm in administration now..but used to have chemo buddies. It's

really fulfilling..no pay but fulfilling. Also, I have my furkids to keep me

busy. dave and I were a blended family..so I have a dog we bought when my 18

yr old poodle had to be put to sleep, 2 cats and a parrot.

It is so comfortable, and I am glad I bought it.  When my feet and

ankles are bad, I just lift it to the max position, and it actually puts

you standing up effortlessly.  Makes getting up so much easier.

Isn't awful when you feel unsteady when you walk.  Do you use a cane or

walker?  I use my cane whenever I need it for stability.  I just can't

take another bad fall.I hope you continue to stay off your feet, and take

things slow and

easy.  What do you do to entertain yourself while resting?  I love t.v.

and movies, reading, and right now I am doing a Mermaid needlepoint

pillow.  Plus, I am on this magic machine a lot.
