Guest guest
Hi - Your post spoke to me as I'm the same way. Sometimes I'm up half the night just waiting for the next pain pill to kick in so I can get some rest. What do you take for pain? Will your doctor give you an extended release formula that will last you through the night? I don't have insurance and my PC and Rheumy want me to go to a pain management clinic, but I have to wait until SSD kicks in as they don't take self-pay patients. Have you ever tried Valerian Root? It has a natural calming effect which might help to relax you enough to get some restful sleep. Please don't apologize for complaining. Whatever is bothering one of us, another may have experienced and can offer some ideas to help. I pray you can find something to help you so you can get a good night's pain-free sleep.....Doreen Forgot to add this!!!! I have terrible insomnia - I take 1/2 - 1 ambien to go to sleep which never seems to happen until about 12:00-12:30 then I ALWAYS wake up at 2;30-3:00. It sucks - sorry for sounding a bit crude but that is the only word that will fit! I usually take ANOTHER 1/2 just so I can sleep a couple hours more. I don't have a sleeping disorder - just unrelenting pain. I'm sorry - not trying to complain! Take care, in SC
