Guest guest
Palmetto is next to Bradenton and Ellenton. Right where 275 and 75 meet. Out of evacuation and hurricane zone. Â This is rather funny but I will wear out my welcome shortly. the other evening I hurt so much that I set the A/C to 62 degrees. I felt relief others awoke shivering. I am becoming the houseguest from the arctic. Raniolo From: OKD <Cofade_2000@...> Subject: [ ] Re: Why is it? Date: Wednesday, July 28, 2010, 11:37 AM Â Barbara: Thanks for your kind words. You should be a therapist, cause I swear, I sign in here and see your words and I am quite comforted. That is a gift. Guest guest
Now I know where it is. My good friend lives in Tarpon Springs and I go right by that exit.  I love it cold too. They could put on their winter p.j.'s and be comfy. I will take the cold a.c. instead of all this heat and humidity. This last week the heat index has been 105....very hot and humid. Summers are tough here but thank goodness for a.c. to keep us comfortable.  What date do you plan to move into your new home? Did you hire a mover? Makes the move so much easier. My girlfriend has them pack her and unpack her. She is almost 80 and moved from Trinity to where she is now 8 months ago. It was a hard move for her. She is pretty settled now, but still selling many of her antiques......no room for them anymore. She has them in storage, and is trying to get rid of it all. Tough to do.......  Is Tenn. as hot and humid as here? Stay cool!!!!  Hugs,  Barbara From: OKD <Cofade_2000@...> Subject: [ ] Re: Why is it? Guest guest
Tenn is usually cool...this summer quite different. glad we will be so close geographically. With luck we can have a FL group to meet others for lunch once a month or so. I will have a mover...all in 3 storage centers now. I will have to hire a cleaning woman to help organize me...impossible for me to do the physical labor. I am moving into a bigger space so that is lucky. I must have walk in shower and all to be wheelchair friendly, just in case I can not keep this disease at bay. My fantasy is to eventually trade room and board to a single person in repayment for basic daily care. My son works quite near by and can check on me easily. He is medical director of urgent care center on 64  ( Cortez Road.)  We must all find ways to survive emotionally and physically. We must fight a worthy battle. Raniolo From: OKD <Cofade_2000@...> Subject: [ ] Re: Why is it? Date: Wednesday, July 28, 2010, 11:37 AM  Barbara: Thanks for your kind words. Guest guest
It is good you have plans for your needs and well being. It will be a great move when you are settled in. My friend's son lives with her and is such a great help to her. She really needs 2 knee replacements, but she feels she is too old to get it done. How she suffers each day with them. She can hardly walk anymore.  I hope you find someone nice and be a great help to you. Like you said, we never know what is coming next with RA. Good to have long range plans. I am happy I am living here, it is truly wonderful. I do what I can, and make a daily plan before I get out of bed each day. I try to keep to this if I can. Very good to have someone help you get settled and organized. I am so happy my girlfriends son is there to help her do all that. He is also painting each room in their new home. They are both happy now as the place looks wonderful. Enjoy your time in Tenn. and when you get home and settled, we will meet for lunch. I go to my friends a lot. She is an 1 1/2 hours from me. It is a easy ride for me.  Take care . Nice to chat with you as always.  Hugs,  Barbara From: OKD <Cofade_2000@...> Subject: [ ] Re: Why is it?
