Guest guest
Ruth, First and foremost...do NOT panic . If it is MS there is a lot that you can do to help yourself. Go slow and learn...there is a wealth of info on the Internet. It can be overwhelming if you go to fast. MS is a very manageable circumstance. Go to www.copingandprevailing.com If you cannot afford to pay for the book, send me your mailing address and I will send it to you. Guest guest
Ruth, I grew up in Random Lake, WI and noe live in SC. I have the same symptoms as you and have had optic neuritis and blood tests show anti mylein antibodies(MS). i don't have an offical diagnosis but am having relapses with my vision and episodes of tingling, buring sensations and shooting pains. I feel like going through the process of a diagnosis is so drawn out and I wouln't take the meds anyway. So I am doing s gluten, dairy and carb free diet (specific carbohydrate diet). i am one who doesn't want to be labled. I don't own what the docs say because i knw that my God is bigger than this. His word says that by His wounds we are healed. I am owning that instead. He has given us knowledge and wisdom to attack this with resources He created. That's the route I will take. I also have 4 children all of who have the same test results as I do. We were in a mold infested home that was due to a costruction error. So we are all on the diet and praise God the kids aredoing remarkably well. I would say hang in there. I am a homeschool mom of 4 and it gets overwhelming at times. Get your kids to take over some of the household responsibilities. They are old enough. As far as your husband is concerned, do that you have to for you and the kids and pray that he gets it eventually. I am so sorry you are dealing with all of this. Take care of you. You have been taking care of others for a long time. Your family is no good if Mama is not well. We tend to be the backbone and take it all on. I will be praying for you to get the wisdom you need and answers to your difficlties. Good luck, Ann
