Guest guest
BIMBO!...that's me & my memory before surgery. :-} you describe it perfectly...couldn't recall words & names; couldn't remember something 1 minute later, especially if there was any distraction. matter of fact, when i was tested at CINN they told me that was what the real problem is...distracted attention, you can't juggle more than 1 ball at a time i know these are listed as symptoms of acm, but i think they must be more generalized symptoms for a larger number of problems (kinda like excess substance P in csf causing acute pain, but several conditions could cause the excess P). i don't have acm; i have spinal stenosis/myelopathy (but maybe the myelopathy is the common factor). people dx'd with fibro, cfs, orthostatic intolerance, and other conditions also complain of 'brain fog'. i've improved since surgery but still not back to 'normal' (whatever the heck THAT is anymore :-p anyway, you're not alone; many other people have the same problems & it IS probably caused by the acm. june in calif dx of cervical stenosis/myelopathy.
