Guest guest
Oohh I love edamame!! Awesome way to get your protein and I never thought I would like soy beans LOL sometimes I just have them with a bit of lite soy sauce and thats my lunch. Bobbi -- Carmen-this is what I've been eating So I'm 8 weeks out and this is what I have been able to eat in the past 2 weeks without getting sick : carb control skim milk, Hunts snack pack splenda pudding and gelatins, lowfat cheese, sushi without rice, shrimp cocktail, scallops, soy nuts, hummus, 's chili, some soups, edamame (soy beans), fish (sea bass, tuna, tilapia, flounder) that I poach in the microwave, baby spinach sauteed, mushrooms, filet mignon 3 oz., smoked salmon (nova), fresh pears, apples, crushed pineapple in it's own juice, baby carrots, small amount of fresh ground unsweetened peanut butter, boiled peanuts, almonds,SOBE Lean diet mango melon, and occasionally a few small prezels or crackers when my stomach hurts or is nauseous, and the things listed below. Everybody handles foods differently though. Today I hit 229 down from 269- I am grateful. I don't get very thirsty. I still struggle to get enough liquid in. I have been walking at night, and doing water aerobics in the morning almost everyday. It really helps. Hope you are well. Breakstone's or Light 'n Lively's cottage cheese (comes in a 4 pack) each has 11 grams of protein. I also got Dannon's Light'n Fit Carb & Sugar control smoothies (comes in a 4 pack in red bottles, make sure not to pick up the wrong color bottles (different color- different product)! The smoothies taste fabulous, and have 6 grams of protein, 2.5 grams of fat, 2 grams of sugar (Splenda, yeah!) and only 4 grams of carbs. I drink two usually. They come in strawberry-banana, and plain strawberry, and have real fruit. I hope this works for others as well as it has for me! -8 weeks out and 40 pounds slimmer! My pouch still will not take a protein drink in. Any suggestions? --- Olson wrote: > almost 8 weeks ago.
