Guest guest
Hi Kate, Thanks for your e-mail sweetie. Dave starts his job this coming Monday and is still on cloud nine. He is chuffed that they are giving him a laptop computer. I laughed when he told me this as the most Dave has to do with a computer is when he plays card games on my computer so its gonna be fun teaching him lol. He also gets a new van, office and 20 guys under him which he is worried about but I said once he gets himself sorted, he will be fine. Oliver has got Hayfever - the season seems to have begun early this year. He has had a couple of good days though albeit that he gets real tired easily these days, but I'm pleased to report he is feeling better than he did last weekend. Tara is chasing her tail sorting out the forthcoming show which is to take place on 27th July. The hall has been donated. Some professional singers we know have said they will take a turn in singing to give Tara and a break and have also donated all their equipment for use on the night bless them. Tara trolled round the local shops yesterday asking for donations for the raffle and got 10 prizes given in so she is real pleased. Things are beginning to come together. I have printed up the tickets and posters which we already have up. We've had a good response from folk who want to come. Tara and are also busy practising songs, its lovely for me I'm sat in my office working on essays for uni with the sound of my girls voices singing, its lovely. Tara has worked out a music quiz for the evening and has called the show RHYTHMS FOR RESEARCH not bad aye! We are hoping to raise as much money as we can for Stills so fingers crossed the evening goes well. My cousin and hubby are coming down from Birmingham for the event and lots of family and friends will be there. Family have said they will bake cakes to give folk in the interval with their cup of tea so its all go at the moment. I have only one exam left to do and that's not until July now. Mind I cannot rest on my laurels as I've got three essays to be in, in 7 days. I was given extensions on them as Oliver had been grotty at the time when they were due in. My uni has been so good about Oliver and has really given me their support. What will you do once you have passed your exams - what are your plans? Well, must go time for my pain killers cos I hit my head on the lock of the boot of my car and have trapped a nerve in my neck, pulled the muscles in my neck, bruised my cheekbone and jarred my jaw lol I must learn not to rush about so much says my G.P. lol Oliver says thank you and 'HELLO KATE' Look forward to hearing from you soon and GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR EXAMS Love and hugs a, Oliver and the clan
Guest guest
Hi Patty, My friend has said that she will video the event and Tara's father-in-law has also said he will video it so I am hoping they get different things and I can then piece the two together. As soon as I've got it sorted Patty I will send you a copy ok. The girls are so excited especially Tara who has put so much work into it even though she has young Charlie and works 4 days a week she still finds time to help me bless her she really is a darlin. I hope you are feeling well Patty. I will tell Oliver about the video you are doing when he comes home, he'll be so excited and what a wonderful idea Patty. He is with Dave and at the moment over Dave's brothers farm playing with his cousin whilst Dave helps concrete some of the barn to make a hardstanding for the tractor so they'll all come home filthy as they usually do when they've been at the farm lol. Before we know it, it'll be Haymaking time at the farm at which time the whole of Dave's family go and help - its great fun but we all come home looking like a dry week in a wet fortnight and walking like a drying duck in a thunderstorm! lol Take care and look forward to hearing from you soon Love and Hugs a, Oliver and the clan xx
Guest guest
a; so sorry to hear of your knock on the head and I hope it feels better for you soon. Your description for us about the planning of the event is great. May I suggest if someone has a video camera to tape the event for us to view? That would be such a nice present if we could watch your lovely girls and the family. I am doing a video at this time for Oliver and friends. I want to add a bit more still, but think he may like it. I filmed the hummingbirds eating and our outing last weekend to the observatory and the glider planes at the airport on the way home. I am just getting back to feeling better and have not forgotten about sending Oliver some fun things with the calendar. Take care and so nice to hear Oliver is feeling some better. Give a big hug and smiles from us. Pattymelt Re: OT a Hi Kate, Thanks for your e-mail sweetie. Dave starts his job this coming Monday and is still on cloud nine.
