Clora, I'm sorry to hear of the psoriatric arthritis problems and I do hope the

Enbrel kicks in soon. My friend is a dermatologist and she swears by Enbrel for

PA. I would ask your dermatologist about how to manage the crumbling nails. I

wonder if he/she could debride (sp) or file them down so they don't hurt as much

and encourage new growth. Kate F

Do anyone know what can be done with the finger/toe nails while they are going

through this deterioration point??????????? I just bandage each one up till

they brake/fall off and new ones start. Hopefully once the enbrel begins to

work, they will start growing right.....I am going to ask my rheumy when I seen

him Fri. When he told me it was psoriatic RA, I dumbfounded and didn't ask

any questions....

Thanks , the second was really very understandable. I took medical

terminology and still have problems understanding medical terms.
