Guest guest
Judi, It's called, " Niaspan 500mg. " The doc told me it was like Niaccin vitamins, that help cholesterol, except it's prescription. There are a lot of side effects from it, and I'm having most of them. I've always had problems with cholesterol and triglicerides, even when I was young. My mom also has the problem. I've taken several different meds, that has caused problems. So, your doc thought this one would work? They sometimes don't listen do they. I was on one med, and it was making me have pain in my legs, and she told me it wasn't from the med, but it was. I read that was one of the side effects. We have to listen to our own body, and it's our choice what we do. Your lunch sounds yummy, and less fattening then mine. I'm a old southern gal, and sometimes, I just don't eat as healthy as I should. You take care, and it's always so nice to hear from you, Tawny > > Hi Tawny, > > Which med are you taking? Sounds like an allergic reaction. My doc in Georgia had me taking one last year (and with my brain fog I can't remember which one) which made me violently and constantly nauseated. He swore up and down that wasn't a side effect, but I later found out it was. My cholesterol is normally high due to the Dercum's (overabundance of fatty tissue) but we eat healthy, so keep it on the low side of high, if that makes sense. > > Your steak dinner sounds good. I'm about to go fix some mandarin chicken salad for our lunch. > > Hugs, > Judi >
