Guest guest
Hey , You need my cat. We get those awful looking bugs on steroids b/c of an empty field next to me too. My cat sits in wait for them! Apparently he's zoomed in on where they come through. He terrorizes them by batting them everywhere, chasing them all over the house (which can be funny or annoying depending on the time of day. he's a BIG cat), then he waits for them to day. But at least he's a good bug chaser =) But of course then I'm left to get rid of them. Nae Re: [ ] OT- Mosquito bites I like your ideas for wasps, etc ALTHOUGH I am NOT getting close enough to a water bug to sprinkle squat on those suckers! Living where we live - near a lake and close to the coast, we get the water bugs. I have never known a bug could be so big and some have wings! Every time my husband hears my blood curdling scream, he knows one has gotten into the house! I am petrified of them. I will use a half can of Raid to kill one! And not only do they have wings, but I swear some can put it into 4 wheel drive and haul a** across my carpet! I wish there was a way where I would never, ever see one. We've been lucky this year because there's been plenty of rain and they only seem to come into the house (probably thru their own elevator thru the vent system or something!!) when it's been dry..........If anyone has a solution to THOSE monsters, I'd like to know ! in SC
Guest guest
Hi Nae! I used to have a big cat that did the same thing! But unfortunately, he passed away. We have a rule in my house now - if I have to be the one to kill " IT " then hubby has to dispose of " IT. " Of course he uses it as a time to terrioze me some more - he will pick IT up by one of it's long legs and swing it around............I am sooooo pretrified of those things that my father in law, (as a joke) bought a plastic bug the size of a real one and put it in an envelope and mailed it ot me! I opened it up and that THING fell out on me in my lap and as usual, I screamed my head off! hehehe!! in SC ltdavis_jrdavis@... Guest guest
Hi Nae - My kitty died about 6 months ago. That sucker was 22 lbs! He was 17 when he died. He had become diabetic - giving him insulin shots actually helped when it came time to give myself shots.....His kidneys finally started failing and there wasn't anything more we could do. But I sure loved him to pieces! But thanks - since I don't have kids - my pets ARE my kids! Isn't it funny how we can get so creeped out over certain things? You have a great day yourself! ltdavis_jrdavis@...
